Dipartimento Attività Integrate Ricerca e Innovazione

The Department of Integrated Research and Innovation Activities (DAIRI) works to define and promote synergies between scientific research and care activities, with the priority of improving citizens' health, through the pathway to recognition as a Scientifically Qualified Hospitalization and Treatment Institute (IRCCS), synergy with the Eastern Piedmont University (UPO) and integration with the AL Local Health Authority (ASL AL). In fact, several ASL AL facilities, including the Centro Sanitario Amianto (Asbestos Health Centre), are afferent to the DAIRI.

The DAIRI coordinates the 'disease units' for healthcare and research implementation, i.e. multidisciplinary corporate working groups focused on research, training and innovation. More specifically, it interfaces directly with the health structures involved, and with professional figures, including those from different departments, to guarantee the coordination and management of activities concerning training, research and communication, providing professionals with tools, procedures, skills and methodological support, guaranteeing full autonomy in the related processes through the various sectors that it comprises.
