A Unit established with the aim of promoting technological innovation in coronary and structural Interventional cardiology, in coronary intravascular imaging methods, in the functional evaluation of coronary injuries, and in the development and use of new devices capable of improving the quality of care offered, the Unit is also committed to research focused on the management of refractory heart failure, new emerging drugs and new therapeutic options with hypo-lipidemic drugs, the correlation between sedation and neurological effects in post-operative care in patients undergoing cardiac surgery, and the study of the correlation between environmental pollution and cardiovascular disease.
