Respiratory diseases and environmental pollution

A Unit created with the aim of promoting the study and clinical and epidemiological research on the harmful effects of pollutants, the correlation between pollutant concentrations and respiratory diseases, the incidence of air pollution on the development of COPD, the re-evaluation of the effects of the limits of pollutant concentrations in the air on respiratory health, including through the activation of collaborations with organizations and/or institutions working in the field of environmental protection.
